FAQ

Straight answers,

General

Where are you based, and does that matter?

We are based in Nigeria and work with clients here, in the UK, the US and the Gulf. It matters in your favour: our rates reflect where we operate, not where you do, and building for Nigerian mobile networks means performance work is a habit rather than an afterthought.

How do projects usually start?

With a call, then a written proposal that names a fixed price and a delivery window. We do not start work against a vague scope, because that is where disputes come from.

What do you need from us?

Decisions and content, mostly. The build is rarely what delays a project. Waiting on approvals and copy is. We agree a schedule for both at kickoff so it does not become a surprise.

Do we own what you build?

Yes. Code, designs and accounts are yours, and we hand over admin access at the end. We never hold a client hostage through their own hosting, domain or ad account.

How are international clients invoiced?

In USD, GBP or EUR by card or bank transfer. Nigerian clients are invoiced in naira.

Web Design

How long does a website project take?

Most projects are completed in 4-8 weeks depending on scope. E-commerce and web app projects may run 8-14 weeks. We give you a precise timeline in your proposal.

Do you use templates or page builders?

Never. Every QLEVR site is custom-designed and custom-built. Templates limit your brand, performance, and SEO. We don't cut those corners.

Will I be able to update the site myself?

Yes. We integrate a headless CMS so you can update content, add pages, and manage media without needing a developer.

What platforms do you build on?

We primarily build on Next.js for performance and SEO advantages. For e-commerce, we use Shopify or WooCommerce depending on your requirements.

SEO

How long before I see results from SEO?

Honestly, 3-6 months for early signals, 6-12 months for meaningful ranking gains. Anyone promising faster results without a clear technical basis is cutting corners. We set realistic expectations and deliver consistently.

Do you only do local SEO or international too?

Both. We've run campaigns for local businesses and global brands. The strategy differs significantly. We'll recommend the right approach for your specific goals and market.

Will you write the content or do I supply it?

We can do either. Most clients prefer us to produce the content as part of the retainer, as our writers are briefed with the SEO strategy in mind. You review and approve before anything goes live.

What does an SEO retainer typically cost?

Our SEO retainers start from $1,500/month depending on your site's current state, competition level, and the scope of work required. We'll give you a precise figure in your proposal.

Media Buying

What's the minimum ad spend you work with?

We recommend a minimum of $1,500/month in ad spend to generate statistically meaningful data. Below that, testing cycles are too slow to optimise effectively.

Do you charge a percentage of ad spend or a flat fee?

We charge a flat monthly management fee, not a percentage. This means your management cost doesn't inflate as your budget grows. Our incentive is your performance, not your spend.

Which platform should I start with?

That depends entirely on your audience and offer. B2C products often start with Meta. B2B services often do better on Google or LinkedIn. We'll recommend the right starting point based on your specific business.

How long before paid media becomes profitable?

With a solid offer and landing page, most clients see initial results within the first 30-60 days. Profitability at scale typically takes 60-90 days as we optimise the data we collect.
